Maybe, but also we have to watch out with what the members start out with. If a member decides to become the democratic leader of Canada we shouldn't throw an entire military coup at them unless they are willing or we think they can handle it.

Exactly.
Anything else? Any further suggestions?

Not right now, PM anytime if you have any thing you want to talk about, but for now I would just wait a few days, see if anyone else comes on and puts down suggestions, then I think the only thing left to do is do it, and hope for the best.

Alright. I'll give it three days until we start the restart. That'll give them some days, and us some time to figure out what we want to do after the restart. New characters and such.

IDEA!!! Instead of laying claim to multiple nations when you claim a country, having many nations part of your government at once, I suggest, after people have claimed their nations, a region grab thread. In it, people, under a specified order, will lay claim to one region at a time. Example. Nation one lays claim to region one. Next post, Nation 2 claims Region 2. So on and so forth. You only get one region at a time, instead of taking multiple countries. It allows more fairness, and a fun little challenge.

I hope I'm not following wrong. If your talking about when we take countries, won't we just start out with the country as it is? Why would someone start out with more territory? Also, if this is what your saying, I don't think we should divy up the whole world, we should leave plenty of NPC nations.
If I am reading your post wrong once again I apologize.

I believe he's speaking in the sense of you get your nation, then you get to pick regions of other countries around you(WHICH NO ONE HAS TAKEN, Mind you :]) To add to your nation.
I dont know how i feel about this. I intended empires to have to have a long history, and you'd have to include history on how your empire took the other countries. Doing something like this means theres no history to it, and new members would be confused as to how your nation got that region.

Of course there will be more rules regarding this, like region cap, what regions are available, things like that. And Seppy can illuminate more on starting out with more than one country.

I think instead of just having a free picking session, I think that if you wish your nation to have some more land areas, than you can state what areas in your application and then a staff member can accept it, deny it, or modify it. You would also of course have to add some history on how you acquired this land.

I figured for Empires(as previously stated) the applications will be alot harder and more labor-Intensive. For the start of the Italian Empire, i figured on having four countries, including Italy, those being France, Switzerland, and Austria. I'd include in my Application history on how i acquired each nation.
