OOOh, another battle with Japan and the Phillippines. Will it be a repeat of history, or will Japan be beaten back. I think I might mod this, if nobody else wants to.

Unknown to the Philippines there is a large force of 30,000 are heading their way with the flagship Fuji, which is a Yamato Heavy class battleship, in the middle of this force. That is when Admiral Yamamoto orders the landing crafts to land on the north island which is Luzon, or the main capital island. But before the landing crafts are to land that is when 10,000 long range carrier planes launch from Nagasaki, Japan and start dropping paratroopers on villages in the middle of the island. And the paratroopers after landing are ordered to head towards the capital city Manila. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ph_luzviminda.png - image of the cluster of islands of the Philippines.

Strange activity is seen from the islands of Japan, prompting the Philippines to mobilize a small defence force of 2,000. Not many people believe that war will happen, but some military officials are preparing for the worst. One anti-aircraft batallion has been mobilized in the capital of Manila, though many of that batallion believe that nothing will happen. The president of the Philippines, Jose Acquino, has personally sent messages to Japan, asking if the military maneuvers are unannounced military exercises, and asks that the fleet stay outside of 50 miles from the northernmost landmass of the Philippines. Letters are also being sent to the United States, and other major allies, asking if they would provide help if help is needed.

As Emperor Yokohama reads the letter from the Philippines asking if it was a unannounced military exercise. Then Emperor Yokohama Replies
“Dear Mr. Acquino you are wondering in the Japanese military has launched a unannounced exercise and the answer to this is yes we are doing a worst case scenario and not much more. So there is no need for alarm.
Sincerely, Emperor Yokohama of Imperial Japan”
After Emperor Yokohama wrote the reply letter the emperor smiled while giving the letter to a soldier who took it to Jose Acquino.

In reply to the message, General Acquino sends his thanks to Japan for explaining the situation, and orders all troops to return to their bases. Most comply, but one small force of 400 returns, these 400 are left by a very suspicious field officer, in the area of Caloocan City. The president also says that if any Japanese military vessel is found within 50 miles of the Philippines, that she will be shot upon until sunk. This is a fair warning.

As the long range cargo planes that traveled from Nagasaki, Japan start flying over the northern part of Luzon the planes then open up and start dropping paratroopers, fast attack vehicles and light tanks 3 miles south of the nearest northern coastal village and guarding those planes were fighters that started to take out any AAA batteries and any pillboxes that were positioned on the coast. As the Imperial Japanese ships got closer to Luzon. That is when 3 super carriers launch anti-ship and sub planes and unknown to the Philippine navy that they were surrounded by Missile subs. Then from the flagship Fuji Admiral Yamamoto shoots an underwater beacon that was picked up on every ships radar even the Philippine navy which confused the Philippine navy but this beacon told the imperial subs hidden within the Philippine ships formation to fire at will. Then Yamamoto finally got on the radio and told every ship and Aircraft carrier plane to fire on the Philippine vessels.

The Filipinos heard the planes fly over their cities, prompting frustrated soldiers to pull out their freshly stowed AA, and throwing sporadic anti-aircraft fire into the sky, not much though, but it was better than nothing, was it not? About 20 airplanes were hit, 11 of those containing paratroopers. Coastal defences are nothing, but currently are not needed, allowing crews to rush out and attempt to repair them. The 400 are the first to respond to the paratroopers, and have started fighting tenaciously. About 230 have died in fierce street to street fighting, taking the same number of Japanese fighters with them.
The president has mobilized all available forces, in the first 12 hours, about 50,000 men are sent to Luzon to repeal the Japanese. The remainder of the Filipino Navy and Air Force attempt to attack the Japanese Fleet and Air Force, but they are soon overpowered after only taking a few cruisers, one submarine, and no carriers. Few ships remain. The Air Force has had some more success, shooting down 15 fighters, and 32 transports before losing the air superiority battle. Anti-aircraft stationed in the cities is the only defense left against the Japanese threat. The Filipino government is moved to another island, and appeals to the United States for help, based on the Mutual Defense Treaty. They recieved no reply. The Vietnamese secretly send aid in ships and planes, for the Filipinos to use, but no active soldiers have appeared as of yet.

As fighting is happening in major cities of Luzon that is when Admiral Yamamoto order the landing of all Landing crafts and to deploy all troops and Type 18 main battle tanks. As this order was sent out that is when Yamamoto ordered all missile battleships, Aegis battleships, missile subs and the crew of the Fuji to use the 9x18 inch cannons of its main batteries and to fire upon the coast to protect the landing crafts. As all this is happening a intelligence ship called Hibiki, which means Sound, echo in Japanese, intercepts a message that is in Vietnamese that was transmitted to the Philippines made Yamamoto decide to have the crew stop firing upon the coast but kept 3 missile subs and 2 missile ships to keep up the barrage but had the 3 super carriers, 5 missile subs, and all ships that are not firing upon the coast follow the flagship Fuji west towards some small islands north of Luzon for an ambush on the Vietnamese ships.
