The Armed Forces of the Italian Empire
The Armed Forces of the Italian Empire are divided between five different branches. Esercito Italiano(Army), Marina Militare(Navy), Aeronautica Militare(Air Force), Arma Dei Carabinieri (Police Force), and La Guardia di Giovanni Imperatore (Giovanni Guardsmen). They are commanded by the Supreme Armed Forces Commander, Emperor Giovanni Facilli, but only under the case that he chooses so. Normally, they are commanded by Numerous Generals under the General Staff, which commands all armed forces under the orders of the Emperor.
The Current Number of Members in the Italian Armed forces is; 3,527,472.
Army
The Italian Army is the Ground force for Defense and Offense of the Italian Empire. At the moment, it is a professional, all-volunteer, active duty Army with around Three million members. Its most well-known Vehicles are the Dardo Infantry Fighting Vehicle, which has numerous variants, including a 120mm Mortar Carrier, a 105mm light tank cannon, Ambulance, and Command Variants.
In addition, they are also well known for their B1 Centauro Tank Destroyer, which is an All-Italian Made Tank Destroyer equipped with a 105mm Cannon on a chassis with Eight Wheels for speed and lower noise.
The current Main Tank of the Italian Armed forces is split between the old Ariete Main Battle Tank, which has been now limited to different actions such as Mobile-Bridge laying(Replacing the former Leopard 1 “Biber” Bridge-Laying vehicles purchased in the 1970s), and the Jackson Main Battle Tank, which has only just recently been Put on Mass-Production orders. 1,000 Jackson Tanks have been orders, of which 507 have been delivered.
The Main Aircraft used by the Italian Army are the Agusta A129 Mangusta, an All-Italian Made Attack Helicopter, and the Agusta A109 Utility and Transport Helicopter. The Italian Army currently maintains 102 Agusta A129s, and 300 Agusta A109s.
Navy
The Italian Navy (Marina Militare) is the navy of the Italian Empire. It is one of the Five branches of military forces of Italy; formed in 1946, from what remained of the Regia Marina (Royal Navy). As of 2018, the Italian Navy has a force of around 150,000 men. The Italian Navy is currently only Operating in its territorial waters, and is the smallest part of the Armed Forces equipment wise.
The Italian Navy, though, maintains its position as the nation with one of the largest forces of Air-Craft Carriers, Second only to the United States(11 Carriers), as it maintains Four Aircraft Carriers. They include the IRN Cavour(550) and the IRN Giuseppe Garibaldi (551). In the Early 2000’s, two other Garibaldi Class AirCraft Carriers were also constructed.
At this moment in time, there are believes that the Emperor Wishes to expand the Italian Navy Dramatically, but at this moment in time, there are no known goals for the expanse of the Italian Navy. Currently, the Italian Navy’s largest ships include its Four Medium Air-Craft Carriers, and One Battleship which it constructed at the same time as the Three Garibaldi class aircraft carriers.
