To the Nation of Austria

In recognition of the recent ultimatum the Italian Empire has sent to Austria, the Holy Roman Empire sends its own ultimatum to the nation:

Allow yourself to be annexed into the two nations. The Holy Roman Empire would like the regions of Niederösterreich, Oberösterreich, Wien, and Burgenland, north of an imaginary border drawn at the narrowest point of said region. All other parts of Österreich will go to the Italian Empire, if they accept this claim. Österreich will be invaded in 48 hours if they do not accept this ultimatum to rejoin the empires they were once part of.

The Government of the Italian Empire has reviewed this second ultimatum, and has stated that they support it.

We await a response from the Austria government, and as previously stated, Forty Eight Hours remain to respond before war is declared.

In regard to the events Frederik Karl Christian XI af Danmark has made his opinion clear.

"The attacks on peaceful countries is an affront to Europe and geopolitics. The civilised world has learned and modelled much of its government from fine examples from these three nations. That they would be victimized by expansionism will no doubt put the world on end, the audacity of this threat of force will no doubt pave way for ambitious powers. How can even a ruler such as myself remain passive when Europe has opened with war, the first war of this century, the first war in Europe for decades. If Italia and Deutschland are to fail in this, then Europe still has more war and loss of life then it should, if they are to succeed, they'll serve as a symbol to other would be passive nations that the vulgar imperialism of old has once again returned. I will not see my country in war over foreign affairs at this time, however, despite my current stated pacifism in light of these events, I can not stay silent and say that this is an attack that any peaceloving nation of Europe should desire. This is also a threat to the enviroment and biosphere, as they promise that these three nations already high in infrastructure and industry more industrialisation? Where are they going to build this one may ask, the only place they can, the established Greenbelt. How does a nation torn with revolution even have such a surplus? Are their people working slavishly to accomadate the harms and debt accumulated of the past?
The three nations have so far, two options, appeal to apathetic foreign powers who want not war, or have their sovereignty and country raped and torn."

Austria is speaking on the behalf of Austria, Switzerland, and Lichtenstein,

“We are sorry to inform you that we do not wish at this time to become under the rule of any foreign nation. None of your “gifts” provide us interest as our nations are doing well on our own. We do not wish for hostility between our nations, but if you carry through with your threat, we will fight for our lands. We regret this choice, and sorrow at the thought of the bloodshed that will occur if war breaks out. We beg that you do not act in this, and that we may live in a peaceful world without the suffering of humanity.” A similar message has also been sent to Germany.

In defense of their lands, Austria, Switzerland, and Lichtenstein have formed an alliance to defend their borders. They are combining their military, industry, economy, and wealth to create a larger and more powerful force. Their governments have also set aside any differences they may have had in an effort to face down the threat they all share. This has created a large, unified army under the head of the combined governments. Their forces have reportedly begun moving into defensible locations within the nation, as well as a general conscription going through all the nations, with new recruits coming in and receiving quick training and then sent out to defend their nations. Defenses are also being built quickly within the nation, with several key roadways already reportedly blocked. All in all the army is numbered at 400,000 well trained soldiers, and possibly 2 million conscripts available for action.

Although no nations have openly supported the alliance, it is not a secret that many European nations view this aggression by Italy with disfavor, especially towards Switzerland. Switzerland’s neutrality through history and with it being the hub of many international events and organizations, the conquering of such nations would anger many Europeans, and hurt diplomatic relations between them and Italy if not with the threat of war if pushed too far.

I'm going to do a dice roll for Austria and Switzerland. I'll do a ten sided dice, and this is for the population of each nation being for/against the war. Ten being completely for the war, 1 being completely against it.

Lichtenstien won't be getting a dice, because Knives agree'd with me, that more than 90% of the Population will be against the war, and will just give in.
