History/Background:
The Imperial Flag Ship Fuji was a secretly being constructed from 2011 to 2013. When Fuji was first revealed on December 20, 2013 the crew of the ship, who were rebel soldiers during the Coup d’état of Japan took over the ship. It first did not see battle until September 12, 2014 when the United States tried to help the Japanese government from the rebel attack. That’s when the USFS (United States Flag ship) Kestrel was destroyed. Ever since that incident Fuji has been the primary Flag ship for the Emperor.
