Personality: Nicholas is what some may call “the model fascist”. He’s ambitious and determined, not letting many things stop him from reaching his ultimate goal, and not caring to plow over anyone that gets in his way. He’s smart, having been given some of the finest education available in Spain. He’s charismatic, his voice and personality and make others believe anything he says and will speak his wishes. Yet he also has more personal characteristics. When not leading his nation, he likes to visit the more historical locations of Spain, relishing history, Spanish above all others. He also likes to spend time with friends and family, and can be cheerful and friendly when in high spirits, cracking jokes and having a good time.
However Nicholas has also some “bad” characteristics as well. He can be ruthless and cruel at times, punishing and hurting more people than needed, or some that deserved no such punishment. He also mistrusts many people, and it takes quite some time before he will actually trust you, and even then he may watch you carefully. In a worldwide scale Nicholas is militaristic. A civil war? Send in the troops. A riot? Send in the troops. Water shortage? Send in the troops, etc. He believes the military can solve anything, and he will defiantly enforce this policy.
Character History: Nicholas was born on April 10, 1984 to Teodoro and Adelita Lorencio in the capital city of Madrid. His father was the owner of a large company, Lorencio Incorporated, a profitable and prestige’s manufacturer of weapons and other military equipment, particularly tanks. The companies tanks were the envy of the Spanish army, being some of the best and most high-tech available, and some of the most expensive. His mother was a well known author and writer in Madrid, writing many books, mostly historical or non-fiction books on the history of Spain. Together the couple had much wealth and Nicholas lived quite well in his early life, his parents owning a vast estate on the outskirts of Madrid.
At the age of 18 Nicholas was sent to study business at the Universidad Autónoma. After graduating with a master’s degree and at the top of his class Nicholas went into apprenticeship with his father to learn and to eventually become the future owner of the family company. Nicholas picked up quickly and soon he was leading a sub section of the company, his skills rivaling those of other managers at the age of 40+. This would become important since at the age of 28 his father passed away from a heart attack, leaving Nicholas the heir to a vast fortune and a powerful company. Nicholas spent the next few years expanding the company and increasing its power, while taking care of his mother at home who had retired from her writing career. At the age of 30 his mother passed away and Nicholas was left alone.
A year later after the destruction of the world leaders Spain was thrust into chaos. Because of the loss of the countries leader the Fascist Party was exploiting the weakness of the Democratic Party and a bloody rebellion began. At first Nicholas was neutral in the rebellion but soon he began secretly supplying the Fascists with tanks and other military equipment from his corporation. The bloody rebellion however did not end soon and a year later the fight was still going on. Steadily however the Fascists were gaining ground and the casualties were higher on the Democratic side.
As the Fascist party grew nearer and nearer to Madrid, Nicholas openly declared his support of the party and had his corporation begin pumping out military equipment for the cause. Nicholas even hired a small private army which joined the ranks of the Fascist Party at the city limits of Madrid, Nicholas at its head. After a week long battle, with the help of the military and financial support that Nicholas had given the army, the Fascists eventually took the capital city and the two year rebellion finally ended.
After a month of quelling the few pockets of resistance the Fascist Party of Spain had full control of the nation. Due to his help in the war and the general large status he held in society, Nicholas was asked to become the leader of the new nation. Without hesitation he accepted, and after a brief ceremony Nicholas has become the Dictator of the new Fascist Spain.
He now faces a grim task in front of him. The nation is torn apart from the rebellion, the military is hurt, infrastructure is suffering, and the people are divided. He must also look towards beyond his borders towards other nations. He has ambitions to expand Spain, and to recreate the great Spanish Empire that was once the marvel of the world.
