In collaboration with Executive Order 1512, which ordered the release of information on Italian Over-Seas territories which were transferred to the ownership of the Italian Empire when their governing countries were taken over, this document contains a list of overseas territories that the Italian Empire controls. Some other information, such as troops stationed in those territories, may be released along with the names, but that is not a guarantee.
In addition, this list contains islands and territories the Italian Government purchased from other governments for things such as Military Bases.
