A Official Talks About The Black Eagle:
This tank is one of many tanks around the world made for the next generation. We have decided that our main purpose with this tank was to have a tank that could tackle any problem on almost any terrain and climate. We have made it so that it is easily upgradeable and easy to repair or replace (parts). We have ton quite a few tests with it and its our best tank we have ever had, besides the Leopard 2.
We focused around the crew first. We have easily recognizable buttons so the crew doesn't need to concentrate on a button to figure out what it does. We have also played around with the turret. The main gun has an auto load on it but the crew can switch to manual loading, there is more room for crew in turret so there is no danger of getting injured by the auto loader (if being careful), and two hatches on either side of the main gun for the gunner and commander. The main gun is extremely powerful, able to fire targets at 1000 metres and be successful, if targeted right.
Another main thing about the crew aspect of the tank is the number of crew, three. The future of tanks will have no crew, but to have the best tank, you need a crew. We have an escape hatch in the front (hard to see) for crew to easily use as a main escape hatch. We realize a crew has seconds to get out before their vehicle explodes.
The tank can reach speeds of 70 KM/h. We know this is slow so we have put extremely durable armour on the tank. The under belly has more armour in case of mines and the treads ahave more strength. Enabling them to handle normal blasts.
That is all for now about Canada's newest Tank!
