Today, a General has reported to the media that Persian Forces will begin Advanced training. Since interior conflicts have calmed down, the military shall be able to finish training. The advanced training will mainly go towards infantry, though airmen and vehicle operators will get their own version, though not as long.
The infantry's advanced training will include more weapon training (allowing them to work most if not all of the worlds current weapons), vehicle training (allowing them to drive most vehicles except heavily armored vehicles like tanks), and much more.
Please stay tuned as we update you on more of this new Empire's rapidly growing military!
It has been confirmed today that Persia's military is completely trained (besides the newest recruits coming in recently, of course). This has been a relief to politicians about the discussions with the Ottomans' about possibly taking control of the Middle East and regions around it.
It has also been confirmed by military officials that the last shipments of ammunition, weapons, and some needed vehicles have arrived, last week. Furthermore, industry has been going great, finishing about 500 Armoured Infantry Transports* a week. This is likely because of the rising economy and the fact that Persia's industry could be second to none, rivaling China's possibly.
*Persia's Armoured Infantry Vehicle, similar to Canada's LAV III, is one of the worlds newest Armoured Transports. It would have newly updated armour, able to better withstand Armour Piercing and High Explosive rounds. It would also have a better engine, able to conserve fuel, but is extremely reliable, easier to repair on the go, and improved infantry sections, allowing infantry to easily enter/exit the vehicle.
This has been your update! Cheers!
There has not been much new activity going on in the Persian Empire's Military. Persia may possibly support a organization, much like the old United Nations, but would in fact engage enemy targets and use its military to keep peace and its other duties (not just leave weapons with next to no ammunition for show). This is probably due to the amount of votes that came in last week about whether Persia should help support an organization involved in Humanitarian efforts. The results were 70% for and 30% against. If Persia goes along with this, the said organization would have its power increased dramatically.
In other news, there has been rumors of Asad Anotun, Persia's Padishah, may step down. This may be due to the fact he has taken great interest in retirement, or the fact he is getting tired of the day to day duties of being a Padishah. This is just a rumor, but rumors like this are usually true, around here at least.
