"It is confirmed that the bombings in Baghdad, Persia, were caused by the Nationalist Movement Party. The party was created right after The Persian Empire was created. It has been known to create havoc and mislead others into voting for them, but has never done serious harm to civilians. That has changed today.
At 10:00AM today, multiple bombings occurred. The death toll is in in the hundreds, maybe up to one thousand. The bombings went off in major shopping districts, bridges, and busy streets. The city has come to a stand still as "The Immortals" begin to cut off the city. We have been able to get to the closed off streets where this is massive defenses in place. As we got to a checkpoint, a lone gun man came out and began firing at random into the crowd of people on the "safe" side of the checkpoint. Twenty people were injured while five died.
About one hour after the bombings, The Immortals 1st division began to sweep areas of the city. People were evacuated while small and large fire fights erupted through out the city. It is clear that the situation is tense as forces begin to move in as the Nationalism Movement Party has seemed to create its own "Private Army". The members of the party are in the Persian Palace (the Government building for the Padishah and his subjects) and have the Padishah cornered on the Palace. His Royal Guards continue to keep the the Padishah safe but there is a very high chance of the NMP bombing the whole building. Emergency Response Teams (ERT's) are moving out via armoured vehicles and aircraft into select areas to quicken the advance of the main Persian Forces.
This is the first major battle against the Empire. Everyone knew that this kind of thing would happen eventually, but not like this. It was expected that people would fight with words and demand reasons for certain things. We will continue to cover this crisis."

The Television turned off. There was abrupt screaming and crying as the Padishah's wife, on a trip to Parthia, learned what had happened.

It has been released that the Padishah and his subjects have been freed. There has been no further developments to this event.

What actually happened
Asad Antoun looked at a surveillance monitor. Four NMP armed supporters were stationed a couple of hall ways away. The Padishah and his guards had blockaded the doorway and had been planning a way to re-capture the palace. They had the manpower but they didn't know where a lot of the NMP Supporters were, so that complicated things.
A Captain walked up to Asad Antoun and informed him of the newest findings. They were going to start in an hour and had been trying to find out as much information as possible.
An Hour Later...
They opened the blockaded door and quickly moved down a hallway. They silently dispatched any and all NMP Armed Supporters. They ended up having some small firefights in some of the court yards.
Eventually, they made it to the highest floor and got through the heavily guarded doors. They cleared the large room and found a leader of the NMP begging on the ground, crying for forgivness (now that a M9 was pointed at his temple!). The Padishah pulled the trigger and walked away.
It was a dark, bloody day for The Persian Empire. A day no one asked for but it came anyways. May we remember all those who died because of a disagreement.
