The State of the American Free State, it's Mandates, its Spheres of Influences.
* ------ Our Economy
The economy of the American Free State has its basis in production of goods and the education of students. Most industries have government corporations which provide competition to keep prices and production costs low. The production of speciality and high quality wool, red wine, quality beef, clothing, tequila, and high-grade lumber and speciality woods provide the largest products being set into international trade.
Though some international products are bought in the American Free State, all basic needs are supplied by the industry of the AFS itself.
Unemployment has been going down to increased enlistment in the military.
* ------ Military Strength
The military of the American free State is now confined to a small, yet well trained and experience fighting force. It numbers under one million soldiers. They are armed with Free American made weapons, ships, tanks, and technology.
We are currently expanding the size of the military with a goal of 50 million members, made mostly up out of currently unemployed citizens. The current struggle with the UPM will allow huge growth for the economy of the AFS.
Information about military technology of any kind is classified.

The American Free State reaches from Cape Horn to the Mexican border with the United States and from the coast of Chile and Peru to the middle of the Amazon forest.
The people are happier than they have ever been. With the end of civil wars and revolutions twenty years ago, no-one could be happier. There are more students in university than ever before and we are well on our way to being technologically, medically, militarily and environmentally advanced.
More children are in school and literate than ever before. Our youth will grow up to lead productive and happy lives so long as the Free State remains existent.
