Jeeves Jenkins strolled casually around the streets of Milano. Things had been going well for him, his employment of Giovanni left him with enough money to both live on and spend graciously for a good four years. Four years since Giovanni had died. While he felt like he had lost a friend in his former employer the past four years had given him a much needed break, he still had his youth after all.
From the he International Butler Academy, to his service of an elderly wealthy man in Westminster, to his service of the emperor of Italy, Giovanni himself, the butler had travelled a bit, learned a few things, and had perhaps the most desirable resume out of any butler. It was however, time to seek employment again, if he left his casual lifestyle going any longer he could no longer call himself a butler.
While he had been hassled a bit on his break by many hopeful employers he had turned them down, but now he was ready to accept a deal. He confided with someone in his home town, a man no doubt well informed of the Italian household, who was ecstatic to hear that the former butler of Giovanni was now seeking new employment. He leaked the information to a news outlet and soon Jeeves Jenkins was a small celebrity, no one recognised him on the street however, and for that he was thankful.
He remembered the news announcement vividly, it painted him up as a real famous man, speculating on which billionaire, which world leader would be the next employer, the news was so passionate in its presentation that it even convinced him he had a chance of getting a second lucky job.
He wondered what job oppertunities would appear in the future, as he sat idly in his resident, checking his emails every so often, keeping track of incoming calls.

Guesseppe sat idly in front of a computer monitor, his eyes slowly scanning a web page with a list of reliable butlers that went to the International Butler School in the former state of the Netherlands. Many butlers were very good, but one in particular caught his eye. He had worked for a wealthy family in England, then, years later, had been the Estate Manager and Head Butler for Giovanni Facilli, the great general and first emperor of the Italian Empire. He scanned more details, and discovered the man had not accepted any job after the death of Giovanni.
Guesseppe needed an Estate Manager/Head Butler Badly; at least, that was what the four maids and the cooks that remained in his huge home told him. It had been two years since the last Estate Manager had died, he’d been working for the family for upwards of thirty years, and was one of the best the family had ever had. Over the years, the large staff slowly dwindled away, and from a staff of upwards of fifty only eight full-time staff members were left. The once perfectly kept and cleaned mansion, with over 60 rooms and 20,000 square feet of space had grown dusty and un-kept. The small staff couldn’t manage the huge house, and Guesseppe had put off hiring anyone until this day.
Guesseppe slowly wrote an email to the Butler, stating that he would like to hire the young Butler as the Estate Manager for his home, and he would also like him to be his private driver. Guesseppe’s old driver was one of the members of the staff that had left, and Guesseppe was left to have to walk to town to pick up things like groceries and other items, because his staff was too busy attempting to keep the large estate clean, and Guesseppe did not have a driver’s license. He’d be willing to pay the young man upwards of four hundred thousand dollars a year, and would be willing to give him his own private Luxury Car(of his choice) to use and his own room in the mansion.
He returned to the web-page, and copied the email address for the Young Butler, One Jeeves Jenkins, and returned to the Email that he’d written, before pasting the email address into the “send to” bar. He titled the email “Emperor in search of Estate Manager”.

Jeeves Jenkin saw a variety of prominent jobs, but one caught his eye, Emperor in search of Estate Manager”. At first he thought it was a blatent phishing scam, perhaps attempting to fool him using his previous employment. "Better story then a Nigerian banker," he said outloud. Despite his reservations his curiosity got the better of him, and he clicked it. He nearly fell out of his chair when he saw it supplied only an address for an interview, and asked no credit details. He figured it might be a trap for wealthy citisens, but it was a little too elaborate, and a lot of trouble to go to just to scam some man out of his money on the internet. He sent a reply back and was on his way. As far as he knew there was no job in the world that could top serving an Italian emperor, and that was something coming from a man of his history.
A short flight later he arrived at the large vila, he noted the place looked like a fortress, he assumed it had some amazing first class furniture inside in contrast to its sturdy and symmetrical exterior. He nodded with approval that it had less stairs then his last job, on one hand they had kept him in shape, on the other they were a feat to climb. The butler knocked on the sturdy door and was ushered inside. He noted with a mixture of surprise and aprehension the layers of dust over much of the household. "Forget a duster, I'll need a shovel,' he thought to himself.

The Franco Household was a very large household indeed, and that was one of the reasons that most of the rooms were no longer taken care of. Rooms with priceless artwork and thousand year old vases had sheets covering things so they didn’t grow too dusty. Many of the rooms themselves were locked, as to keep the family pets and guests out of them. With only a maximum of Eight staff members to keep the whole home of the Emperor clean, it was chosen that only a select few rooms would be kept perfectly clean; those included Guesseppe’s Office, His Bedroom, the Kitchen, a bathroom, the laundry room, and a guest bedroom.
Guesseppe found himself sitting at a desk eating a small sandwich as he worked on paperwork having to do with the government. As he finished the sandwich, he began to stand up, looking towards the doorway as the Head-Maid, a blonde woman in her Sixties, entered the room, stating “Mr. Franco, Mr. Jenkins is here.”
“The man that I asked to come here for an interview as the New Estate manager?”
“Yes Mr. Franco.”
“Very well, I’ll be right down to greet him.”
As the maid stepped out of the room, Guesseppe pushed the chair behind his desk back in, and straightened out the jacket of his suit, brushing a piece of lettuce off of his white dress shirt before making his way out of the office, and down the long hallways, his hands folded together behind his back as he made his way down several sets of stairs, before finally coming upon the grand staircase, noticing a gentleman in his mid to late twenties standing in the middle of the foyer, dressed in a clean, well pressed Tuxedo, and sporting the classical Imperial Mustache across his upper lip. This was Mr. Jenkins.
As he stepped towards the man, he extended his hand, and stated “Very nice to meet you, Mr. Jenkins.”
